About 58 percent of women are physically abused by like-minded people

Dear brothers and sisters, how are you? Hope you are well. By the grace of Allah, I am also much better.

Violence is a constant threat to women's lives and contributes to the insecurity of large numbers of women in both rural and urban areas. About 58 percent of women are physically abused by like-minded people. Most of these events are at home. Almost all the women in the country continue to be physically abused in their lives. Sociologists have encountered 28 types of violence against women in housework, at work, on the streets and in various other organizations. The fact that women in the country have been humiliated at such a horrible rate is not the reason that there are no good laws in Bangladesh to protect women. There are many laws and even the constitution of Bangladesh guarantees resistance against it. What exactly is there to prevent women from getting justice and manifold? Lack of awareness of existing laws, extreme stress in the life of the dome life, expressive justice system and other influential forces.

Domestic violence is one of the most common crimes committed by unconscious women. When this type of crime takes place behind closed doors, it becomes very difficult for women to prove it and so the perpetrators go unpunished. In doing so, women themselves must take the first steps to protect themselves from violence, especially when it happens inside their homes. They must know their rights and have the strength to fight for them. Experts advise some to advise women, formulate joint efforts of government and non-government organizations to prevent violence, establish a council to prevent violence in each district, ensure equal rights for women in parental and husband property, and ensure women's participation in local government. Women in a family are socially discriminated against in terms of nutrition, general care, etc. and it is also a very common practice in many educated families in the society.

Moreover, in many families women encourage or sometimes directly resort to violence against other women, for example, centering on dowry, which is a common occurrence in many parts of the country. One of the solutions is to exchange views with religious leaders. They should speak out against dowry and domestic violence, learn the right version of legal laws and rally against illegal fatwas. Another solution is to change the general attitude towards the girl child. Boys and girls should be equally confident from birth.
